The second fixture of the Easter Holiday sees Luton Town welcome Barnsley to Kenilworth Road for a Championship fixture.

Barnsley, like Luton, flirted with relegation last season but, also like Luton, have more than consolidated their Championship status this season.

Indeed, the South Yorkshire side currently occupy one of the play-off places and stand a good chance of participating in the end of season bonanza that has such a rich reward for the winners.

The Hatters, on the other hand, will be looking to get back to winning ways after losing 2-0, to Derby County, on Good Friday.

But when it comes to our poll on the subject matter, the Hatters support do not feel quite as confident as they were for the Derby game with only 47% predicting a Luton win, with 29% going for a draw and the remaining 24% going for a draw.

With the 15:00 hours kick-off fast approaching we are now able to bring you the teams.

Starting with Luton Town:

Continuing with our visitors, Barnsley:

The officials in charge today are:

Referee – Matthew Donohue
Assistant Referee – Mark Russell
Assistant Referee – George Byrne
Fourth Official – Jeremy Simpson

  • Paul says:

If that our strongest team, God help us?

  • Ray says:

Having watched 35 minutes of this you have to wonder what Moncur and Morrell need to do to get a game

  • Chris winter says:

Poor defending yet again!!!! When will we learn

  • Paul says:

we wont, NJ is Love blind

  • Paul says:

Taxi for Nathen Jones, he does’nt have a clue what he is doing..

  • Alan says:

Nj can only go with what he has as regards defenders….ĺocks is injured as is potts…its OK Paul calling for nj head but, with the defenders he has at his disposal what would all the armchair managers do different…I hear KDH was up for man of the match, how the f**k does that work out…he couldn’t cross the road today….useless….

  • Paul says:

I will wait to hear what NJ has to say, after another inept performance from our defence.
It’s not Pearsons fault, he is not a championship player, same goes for Bradley and Rea.

  • Chris winter says:

Evening all, what’s with all this calling for njs head. As Alan said we can only go with what we got. People are forgetting we are on 50 points an on target for 59 pts an a 10th to 15th place. Better than last year an improvement. So no need to panic. Let’s see this season through and be proud we’ve improved overall

  • Alan says:

Hi Chris, glad your in agreement…nobody likes losing but we are a work in progress…onwards and upwards…..
