This Saturday, our involvement in the 2023 FA Cup begins with a home third round tie, against Wigan Athletic.
Courtesy of those who select ties for live broadcasting, we find ourselves kicking off at 17:30 as the game is being shown live abroad.
At first, the strange kick-off time left me feeling peeved, but on reflection it now allows me to leave Kenilworth Road, after the final whistle, and head straight to the pub!
Much has been made of the importance of the FA Cup, some see it taking second priority to the EFL Championship, but, to me, it would be great to see Luton Town have a great cup run.
Ahead of the game, we all have our theories as to who Rob Edwards and Kolo Toure will select, but, with the kick-off time looming large, we are now able to confirm the team sheets.

Continuing with our visitors, Wigan Athletic:

As for those officiating, look no further:
Referee – David Webb
Assistant Referee – Mark Dwyer
Assistant Referee – Greg Read
Fourth Official – Craig Hicks
After three consecutive wins, in the EFL Championship, against Norwich City, Queens Park Rangers and Huddersfield Town, I see no reason why Rob Edwards side cannot make it a fourth win, on the bounce, in this FA Cup tie and put the Hatters in the 4th round.

OK so Rob is not going to change much. Looks like he wants to go on a run. No problem with that as long as no injuries occur.
