Luton – Who Would Be Your Selection For An Injection Of Talent
Just for a little bit of fun to lighten the mood ahead of our FA Cup tie with Wigan Athletic, I thought I’d run this one past you all.
Whilst surfing various internet stopping points, the post below popped up and caught my eye, on Facebook.
Although it’s hypothetical, as it always is in puzzles of this nature, I couldn’t get the idea out of mind.
Even, last night, when I was laying in bed, ideas were running through my mind trying to decide just who I would choose.
Eventually, after mulling over three or four names, I decided that the one former player I would select to fit the criteria would be the marvellous Ricky Hill.
Can you imagine just what a prime Ricky Hill would bring to our midfield, his dynamism, skills and demeanour, would, I’m sure, lift us to another level.
But, and here is where it gets interesting, what former Luton Town player would you opt for?

An almost impossible question so many to choose from. For me David preece.
yep, sound choice
To put the fear of God in all opposition defences it has to be Malcolm MacDonald
Another vote for Supermac, I used to love watching him.
As the last 2 posters have said supermac was the most exciting player we’ve ever had to watch. That’s why the question is impossible to answer.
but it is a good teaser Chris
My all time favourite player Malcom McDonald would be my choice
most popular choice so far!
What about Steve Foster think we need a ch at the moment. Coyh
Great shout
David Preece.
Brian Horton. A great leader – excellent in the defensive midfield role.
Mal donaghy, no fuss, Mr reliable. Not a bad goalkeeper either.
Hi Alan yet another I badly wanted to put forward!!!! 😊
supermac or howard for me. also bruce rioch with his fabulous shooting power. what about french, if he was sober? COYH.
David Moss, we have two centre forwards and nobody feeding them. They’d get at least 20 goals each.
Jean-Louis Valois
