Luton Support Approves Of Edwards FA Cup Team Selection

Before the team sheet was revealed for the third round FA Cup clash with Wigan Athletic this evening, there was always the fear Rob Edwards would select a weakened team.

After all, as people keep saying, the EFL Championship is our bread and butter and our main priority.

But with the team now revealed – luton-town-v-wigan-athletic-fa-cup-team-sheets-revealed – it is clear that Edwards has every intention of ensuring Luton progress to the fourth round and, hopefully, draw a Premier League team, by fielding a strong side.

Lockyer may be missing, presumably rested, but there are some very familiar names in the starting XI, including Carlton Morris whose inclusion was the subject of a recent article – support-believe-striker-should-be-rested-for-fa-cup-tie – clearly Rob Edwards has other ideas.

However, his selection has got the approval of the support if social media is anything to go by:
