Luton Town v West Bromwich Albion – Team Sheets Revealed

|

At a sold-out Kenilworth Road, the Hatters take on West Bromwich Albion this afternoon in what should be an entertaining game.

Rob Edwards will be hoping that his charges can make it four Luton wins, on the bounce, in the EFL Championship, while the West Bromwich Albion gaffer, Carlos Corberan, will be hoping his side can continue their fine form which has also seen our visitors win their last three EFL Championship games and four out of their last five EFL fixtures.

The Hatters, in recent weeks, have, liked many other sides, faced a hectic programme, so it will be interesting to see who makes the starting XI, but any discussions relating to that subject can now be put on hold as we are able to reveal, with the kick-off fast approaching, the team sheets.

Starting with Luton Town:

Continuing with our visitors, West Bromwich Albion:

As for those officiating, look no further:

Referee – Josh Smith
Assistant Referee – Graham Kane
Assistant Referee – Akil Howson
Fourth Official – Ollie Yates

Now, what chance is there of the Hatters recording a fourth consecutive EFL Championship win, thereby enhancing further their chances of gate-crashing the play-off positions?

Pretty good I’d say.

OK a disappointment today. But a critique on our performance so far. Not a criticism of Rob or the team so for just my assessment of the performances. I still see us finishing 10th to 15th. There is obviously improvement in our desire to win. No longer going into our shell at 1-0. Rob is still learning how hard this div is but showing great promise. Need more in defence still but we can score goals that’s good. We will hold our own against those around us but the gap to the money clubs shows how hard it will be for us to compete with them. But I support Rob to get us in the fight next season.

Totally agree. WBA probably the best side to come this season.

Hi guys, yes 2 poor bits of defence an horvath didn’t cover himself in glory today. Worst performance of the season by him. But still the best keeper for a while since feuer. Love isted an want to see more of him but it is what it is.

    • Alan says:

Think isted deserves a go on Tuesday. Horvath is a good shot stopper but he does look dodgy at times. But he has saved us a few points too.

The team selection, on Tuesday, could prove interesting, to be honest I’d play a full strength team, if we win Grimsby are there for the taking, Swindon thrashed them 5-0 today, a place in the 5th round could bring the Hatters a lucrative tie.
