Luton Town – It Is Win Or Bust This Afternoon

I am not going to beat about the bush but, in my opinion, today, against AFC Bournemouth is a must win game.

We can no longer wait to be saved by ‘point deductions’ it is now time to start putting some points on the board, preferably three points for a win.

To put it bluntly, time is running out, there are now just 7 games left for Luton Town Football Cub to preserve its Premier League status.

Every game we do not add to our points total puts us a step nearer to falling through that relegation trap door and back into the EFL Championship.

Our recent form is not good, the record books show that we have not won for 10 games, with the last victory coming in the emphatic 4-0 thrashing of Brighton and Hove Albion back on Tuesday 30th January.

In those 10 aforementioned fixtures, the Hatters have collected just 3 points, from 3 draws therefore meaning that out of a possible 30 points, we earned 3.

It doesn’t take a genius to work out that is relegation form and if there is not an improvement, we are, to put it mildly, doomed.

So, this afternoon, at Kenilworth Road, everyone needs to do their bit, the team and the support need to work in unison to beat AFC Bournemouth, everyone needs to give 100%, otherwise, I am afraid to say, it will be, as far as the Premier League is concerned, game over, even more so with Luton’s next game being against Manchester City (a)!

Can’t argue with you mh, but we will have improved from last season let’s not lose sight of that. We all know disarstarous injury list has cost us dearly not poor performance so I still say we can hold our heads high an push on to the end of the season. What does worry me is rob saying he may push some injured players into the team I hope he doesn’t an goes with youth instead personally

Loved how they harped on about Liverpool’s injuries but fail to mention ours with the same intensity!

always good to see youth given a chance. don’t expect them to be the magic bullet, but will play out of there skins. sure that R.E. will choose his best team from the depleted squad. miracles do happen, we just need seven more. fingers crossed.COYH.

Hi Jimbo I never understand people who say we can’t afford to play youngsters in a relegation dogfight in case we ruin their career. Because they aren’t ready.well I can remember west ham playing a game with 5 or six youngsters an taking a bad beating.two of those youngsters were a certain mapanzu an Potts they haven’t had a bad career an the others all had good careers and it helped in their learning curve.
