Earlier today, here at Vital Luton Town, we covered the news that Luton Town had decided to release five players with immediate effect, with their contracts expiring today.
Our article – luton-town-release-five-players-with-one-already-having-found-a-new-club – also covered the fact that one of them, Marek Stech, had already secured a deal with another club, Mansfield Town.
But there are also several other players who have deals that expire today.
However, The BBC are reporting that:
• Luke Berry
• Danny Hylton
• Elliot Lee
• Callum McMananan
• Jacob Butterfield
• Glen Rea
have all agreed on deals that will see them remain at Kenilworth Road at least until the end of the current, elongated, 2019 / 2020 season.
But beyond that their futures are unclear.
Hopefully, the majority will secure new deals although, in the current COVID-19 pandemic driven financial circumstances, they may have to accept deals on reduced terms.
But, and here is where you play your part, which of the six would you would like see at Kenilworth Road next season and which can you see leaving?

The Ups And Downs Of A Manic Weekend As A Luton Win Gives The Support Hope Of Championship Survival
Hi mh, I hope all these players will still be here next season. It’s my belief that the current team is capable of either staying up or easily winning div 1 again with ease. I think with kioso on board if we find another flying wing back to replace Stacey an Justin. That’s all we need
Give all hylts getting a start tonight…..
Hi Alan, I wonder what njs thinking is. Know rea injured in warm-up. This will be interesting.
Hi chris, think he is after scraping a draw, or sneak a winner on the break…
