The games certainly are coming thick and fast as we head towards the tail end of this convoluted, time wise, season.
Hard on the heels of a visit from Swansea City, on Saturday, we welcome Coventry City to Kenilworth Road for another vital Championship fixture.
As is the norm, here at Vital Luton Town, we have dug deep into the record books to put together a starting XI comprising of those players that have worn the shirts of both clubs.
For once, unlike the same article we did for the Swansea City, our XI came together far easier and can be viewed below:
Goalkeeper – Les Sealey
Defender – Kirk Stephens
Defender – Trevor Peake
Defender – Keith Rowland
Defender – Graham Rodger
Midfielder – Ashley Grimes
Midfielder – Don Hutchison
Midfielder – Paul Telfer
Striker – John Hartson
Striker – Roy Wegerle
Striker – Mick Harford
Substitute – John O’Rourke
In compiling the XI, several other players could have been selected, I will leave you to name them in the comment facility beneath this article.

Hi MH, much the same 11 ..maybe david bell & martin crannie….
morning all, that’s some strike force there, i’ll add a couple of fan favourite’s from the 80’s in Jake Finlay & Wayne Turner and more recent times in Leon Barnett & Kev Foley.
Gary McSheffrey was a very good loan signing 1st time around though not sure if any of the above would make the starting 11.
