Played For Both – Luton And Stoke XI

Continuing with our occasional series, we have another brain teaser for you to contemplate.

With the Hatters set to take on Stoke City, this weekend, in a Championship fixture, I have disturbed the old grey matter and done my utmost to produce an XI that have worn the shirts of both Luton Town and Stoke City.

But I have fallen short of completing the task.

Despite numerus searches I cannot locate a goalkeeper that has played for both club, perhaps you can help?

But, after much soul-searching I have come up with the following.

Defender – Matthew Upson
Defender – Rhys Norrington-Davies

Midfield – Ashley Grimes
Midfield – Vincent Hilaire
Midfield – Tom Ince

Striker – Ian Allinson
Striker – Viv Busby
Striker – Mark Stein

Substitute – David Oldfield
