One Last Chance Luton Don’t Blow It

Right, let’s get this show on the road!

Okay, to say I was a little peeved after the last two results is putting it mildly.

Gaining just one point out of the six available convinced me that our short stay in the Championship was coming to an end.

It was a view shared by many.

But a couple of days later my opinion has altered slightly.

We may be bottom of the table and there may be just 4 games to go with, effectively, a six-point gap to make up but with twelve points up for grabs, survival is still achievable, especially when you consider that Hull, Stoke, Charlton and Barnsley are not out of the mire.

However, having said that, I wouldn’t put my mortgage on the Hatters staying up but whilst it is still possible I’m sure you’ll join me in bundling the Fat Lady back in the cupboard and cheering the lads on.

Tonight, Luton take on Huddersfield Town, at the John Smiths Stadium. Our opponents are, like us, in the relegation dogfight and are also on a poor run of form.

Also, the game is live on Sky Sports, kicking off at 18:00 hours, is there a better way than to reignite those survival hopes than in front of the nation?

I’m predicting it’ll be a tight game, but Luton will surprise a few people and get the win.
