This afternoon, the Hatters play their final Championship fixture before a lengthy break to accommodate the World Cup, in Qatar.
It has been a busy week, following the win at Blackpool, the Hatters suffered a reverse, at Stoke City, in what turned out to be Nathan Jones last game in charge of the team.
As the Luton board seek to find a replacement, Mick Harford has once again agreed to step into the void and take charge for this game and I’m sure he will get a rousing reception from the Luton support.
As usual there has been much speculation as to who will make the starting XI, we are now able to end that speculation by bringing you, with the kick off looming large, the two team sheets.

As for those officiating, look no further:
Referee – Stephen Martin
Assistant Referee – Jonathan Hunt
Assistant Referee – Nigel Lugg
Fourth Official – Neil Hair
After what has been a tempestuous week and one in which we’ve lost our manager, is it too much to ask for a spirit lifting win before the mid-season World Cup break happens?

let’s hope the starting XI play so well they can get a few minutes experience near the end.
always happy chris. would love to see it happen.COYH
Not the best of starts, another EARLY goal conceded!
Seems our usual problem has resurfaced an the strikers can’t get the ball in the net no lack of trying just not good enough. Thank god for Berry yet again. Still comfortable but as I’ve said depending who takes over. It will be feast or famine. My opinion is as I said earlier 10 the to 15 the sadly.
And we can’t stop conceding early bloody goals!
Morning mh, now we are at the break. My thoughts turn to how we proceed with with training do the players get a week off to recharge then start again and maybe play a couple of friendlies to sharpen up. With no manager as yet and no idea of his plans it seems we are not in a good place for the restart of the season.
good point Chris, I’d give them a couple of days off then knuckle down, hopefully with a new boss in charge, Sweet wants the appointment done early, so hopefully this week. I can imagine a friendly or two being arranged, quite probably behind closed doors.
