After the dismal result, on Saturday, against Birmingham City, I hope I have found you all a little pick me up.
I say hope because on the two previous occasions I have advertised the fact that the Hatters are featured on ITV4’s Big Match Revisited, the broadcast has shown us losing.
I flatly refuse to research the results beforehand in case it spoils the match day experience.
Today, on ITV4, on the Big Match Revisited, the clock is turned back to September 1974 with Luton visiting Highbury to take on Arsenal.
The other two games featured, just out of interest, are:
• Ipswich v Chelsea
and
• Leeds United v Sheffield United
So, tune in at 18:00 hours this evening and let us see what the action brings, you never know it might bring some cheer although, following previous broadcasts involving Luton Town, I would not bet any money on it!
COYH’s
Luton v Sheffield United?
Luton Town to Win!
Sheff Utd to Win
A Draw!

Luton – They Played For Both – Sheffield United
Far better this time, 2-2, wonderful equaliser from Don Shanks and Adrian Alston looked impressive. A mistake from Keith Barber for the 2nd Arsenal goal but he did make some pretty decent saves during the game.
