It’s time, as the start of the 2022/2023 season fast approaches, to wrap up our summer ‘What to Do With’ mini-series.
The last player to feature in our series was – Luke Berry – a player who, last season, enjoyed one of the best goals / game ratios but, due to injury, played so few games.
But with a poll accompanying our original article, it’s interesting to see your views on the goalscoring midfielder’s future.
A majority of 81% were of the opinion that Nathan Jones should definitely KEEP HIM, with a mere 13% believing his time was up at Kenilworth Road going for the SELL HIM option.
As for the remaining 6%, they went for the LOAN HIM option, not quite sure why as Luke, if fit, has nothing to prove.
It’s always been my belief that a fully fit Luke Berry would be the perfect foil for Allan Campbell at the heart of the Hatters midfield.
The only barrier remains with the players ability to avoid injury, let’s hope that is the case this season.
