The Hatters continued their run of good pre-season form with a 2-1 win, in a friendly against Northampton Town yesterday.
As the new season approaches, the standard of opposition Luton faces starts to improve considerably.
Following on from the win, yesterday, we now face Peterborough United and then West Ham United, the latter of those two fixtures should give us an indication of where we are.
But, yesterday, was a special event, the fixture allowed the 1,115 supporters who made the tip up the MI and then east along the A45, pay homage to a Hatters legend, Danny Hylton.
Signed by Northampton, from Luton, Danny appeared on the pitch to accept the good wishes from the travelling support:

With the new season not that far off, we can only hope that the protection on Dannyโs right knee was only a precaution and will not affect his ability to regularly for the Cobblers.
Who knows, our paths may cross in the future, in a domestic cup maybe, but yesterday was a welcome sight to see.
Good luck Danny for next season.
