Blimey, somebody really has been busy on what is not the best of days weather wise today.

Fresh from an hour of domestic decorating, I returned to find that Luton had signed a new striker – luton-sign-a-new-striker.

But, hard on the heels of announcing that Cameron Jerome had agreed to join us, once his contract with MK Dons finishes at the end of this month, the official site Click Here has announced that Henri Lansbury, an experienced midfielder, has also agreed to join the Hatters.

Lansbury, like Jerome, will become a Hatter once his contract at Bristol City expires at the end of the month.

Also, like Jerome, Lansbury brings a wealth of experience to the squad having played first team football for:

• Arsenal
• Scunthorpe (loan)
• Watford (loan)
• Norwich City (loan)
• West Ham United (loan)
• Nottingham Forest
• Aston Villa
• Bristol City

Last season, while on the books of Bristol City, Lansbury made just 16 appearances and did not trouble the scorers, his appearances being limited as he only joined the club in the January transfer window this year.

With the loan spell of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall having ended, has Lansbury been recruited to provide that certain something the Leicester City player had?

Is Lansbury the player to provide the plethora of chances that provide goals?

With the midfield bite of Allan Campbell added earlier this week, the signing of Henri Lansbury has also given the side a boost, but is it a signing you approve of?
