Luton – It Did Not Quite Work Out As Expected

|

Some ten days ago, before the train came off the rails against Birmingham City, we asked a pertinent question.

With two consecutive home games, against Birmingham City and then Sheffield United, we ran the following article –
how-many-points-from-the-next-2-games.

The question was based on a remark made by Nathan Jones with the boss admitting that he expected to add to Luton’s point tally from the forthcoming two home games.

Our article, as you would expect, contained a poll which read:

How Many Points From The Next Two Games?

We provided FOUR options for you to choose from:

6 points
4 points
3 points

and

Less than 3 points

After the heavy defeat at the hands of Birmingham City, those options became truncated but did anyone, other than the 15% who went for less than 3 points, expect those two games to herald such a poor return?

Personally, I was confident that we would take all 6 points, along with the others who made up the 31% who voted for that option.

It just goes to show how unpredictable life can be when you support the Hatters!
