This Sunday, in a variance from our usual standard Saturday fixture, Luton welcome Queens Park Rangers, to Kenilworth Road, for a Championship game.

The Hatters got back to winning ways, in midweek, with a hard fought 1-0 win away to Coventry City.

That victory lifted the Hatters back up to sixth in the Championship table, occupying one of the play-off places.

However, with most of our rivals playing today (Saturday), there is every chance that by kick-off we may have dropped out of the top-six.

But how do those who visit Vital Luton Town perceive this fixture will go?

Well, according to our poll, they are confident that it’ll be a second win inside a week for Luton with 63% voting for a home win, compared to the 13% who reckon Queens Park Rangers will rediscover some of their form and grab a win, with 24% suggesting it will end all-square.

But what does Sky Sports resident Championship expert, David Prutton, have to say about the game?

In his regular column, as referenced above, Prutton has remarked:

“Luton got back to winning ways in midweek as they battled past Coventry. They moved back into the play-off places before the weekend began and it looks like they will be in the shake-up until the end of the season now.

“QPR, meanwhile, have dropped out of the top six after just one win in six. They are stuttering and they need to arrest the slide before the rest of the campaign drifts away from them. But on current form this has to be a home win.”

With Prutton predicting a 2-1 win to Luton Town.

Hopefully, Prutton has got this one right and, if everything goes well for the Hatters this weekend, we could finish higher up the table than the current 6th position we occupy.
