Luton - Challenging The Expert (1)

In a new feature, this season, I thought I would keep an eye on how one of the so-called soccer experts does when he predicts the outcome of Luton games.

The expert in question will be David Prutton, a former footballer who carved out a career playing for the following clubs:

• Nottingham Forest
• Southampton
• Leeds United (on loan)
• Colchester United
• Swindon Town
• Sheffield Wednesday
• Scunthorpe United (loan)
• Coventry City (loan)

During his playing career Prutton also made 25 appearances for the England U21 team.

Now retired, Prutton is part of the Sky Sports team who specialises in coverage of the EFL Championship.

Ahead of each game, Prutton makes his predictions and for the fixture against Peterborough United, the opening fixture of the season, as can be seen via the link – Sky Sports

Prutton, as you can see you follow the link, predicts that it will end in a 2-2 draw, in stark contrast to the win for Luton that our poll predicts.

So, let us see how Prutton does over the coming weeks and see how many points Luton accumulate compared to his predictions.
