Don’t you just love this time of the year, I most certainly do!

With the EFL 2020/2021 officially over we are in that wonderful period where the internet is awash with transfer speculation and today is no different.

With Nathan Jones wishing to revamp the Hatters squad, there is no shortage of names being linked with a possible move to Kenilworth Road.

The latest piece of transfer speculation is certainly an interesting one.

Our friends over at Football League World are linking the Hatters with a move for the Queens Park Rangers right-winger Albert Adomah, or to give him his full name, Albert Danquah Adomah

Adomah, now 33-years-of-age, has played for a host of clubs with Barnet, Bristol City, Middlesbrough, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Cardiff City (on loan) featuring on his curriculum vitae.

Last summer the Ghanaian international got his dream move when he signed for Queens Park Rangers, his local club, but it is a move that has not quite worked out.

Last season he made just the 7 starts and often joined the action from the bench.

Our quoted source infers that Luton are not the only club interested with Bristol City, Ipswich Town, Derby County and Birmingham City all getting honourable mentions.

Here at Vital Luton, although we respect Adomah’s qualities as a player, we are not for this signing, with his age being the main factor. Although we understand that the squad needs some experience in it, the fact that Adomah rarely started for the West London outfit is also a concern and I am not sure that he is better than anything we currently have.

But that is just my opinion, please feel free to have your say on the player in the comment facility beneath this article.
