We reveal who you’ve selected.

In the penultimate article in our long-running series and having already revealed the first nine members of the ‘Best-Ever Luton Town XI’ as compiled from the series of elevens consisting of players you’ve witnessed in the flesh, we can now reveal the names of those who you’ve selected to form the attack.

Whilst, in the individual elevens, a variety of names were suggested, two players emerged from the pack and dominated the voting.

These two players were from vastly different eras, but both were more than capable of putting the ball in the net and both were as strong and as brave as they come.

Therefore, without much further ado, we can reveal that the strike force chosen to spearhead the team consists of Malcolm MacDonald and Mick Harford making the XI selected as thus:

– Ron Baynham
– Tim Breaker
– Paul Futcher
– Steve Foster
– Mal Donaghy
– Kevin Nicholls
– Bruce Rioch
– Ricky Hill
– David Preece
– Malcolm MacDonald
– Mick Harford

A formidable XI I think you’ll agree.

In our final article, relating to this series, we’ll focus on who you chose to manage the XI and also cover a few of the players who, surprisingly, missed out.
