With transfer speculation as rare as hens’ teeth, we thought we’d keep the ball rolling, on Vital Luton Town, by continuing to look ahead to the new season.

Yesterday, we ran an article relating to next season that was well received, Click Here, today, we’re taking the opportunity to look ahead to three away trips we’re looking forward to.

First up is the Stadium of Light and a trip to take on Sunderland, a team that has suffered two consecutive relegations. After spending what seemed like an eternity in non-league football, travelling to grounds that look, at best, ramshackle, a vast stadium like the Stadium of Light will be a refreshing change for the Hatters faithful.

Secondly, Bloomfield Road, Blackpool, a ground that has in the past, like us, hosted top-flight football. The ground is modernish but it’s more about the opportunity to visit the town itself and enjoy all it has to offer, all its gaudiness and nightlife.

Thirdly, Fratton Park, it’s always a treat to visit Portsmouth, the atmosphere is superb and you get the impression the Pompey faithful appreciate a club that brings a decent amount of travelling supporters.

But, what are the chances of three seaside trips all coming when the weather is fine?

Pretty slim I’d say, knowing the way the fixtures fall, it wouldn’t surprise me if Sunderland (a) was midweek, Blackpool (a) was in mid-February and Portsmouth (a) was around March.

But, we can but dream of being allowed three cracking days beside the sea with the sun shining on our backs can’t we!
