Speculation doing the rounds, and as reported by the local media in Devon, Cornwall Live, suggests the Hatters could be set to make another transfer raid on Plymouth Argyle.

After bringing Jake Jervis to the club in the January transfer window, our source is suggesting that Luton Town are the favourites to sign the Pilgrims defender Sonny Bradley.

Bradley, 26-years-old, is out of contract and has attracted the attention of numerous clubs, including, Barnsley, Bolton Wanderers, Charlton Athletic, Southend United, Glasgow Rangers and Hearts.

Whilst at Plymouth, Bradley has made 96 appearances for the club and has scored 11 goals.

However, whilst we should point out that Luton are the favourites to sign the player, he also has the option of remaining at Plymouth with a contract offer on the table.

Vital Luton Verdict – Nathan Jones may have previously indicated that he has the nucleus of the squad he needs for a successful season in League One, however, Bradley is a defender who has experience of playing in this division. He’s also a dependable performer, something the Hatters could benefit from as they face a tough first campaign back in League One. Also, coming on a free transfer would mean that Jones won’t have to dip into any transfer funds he has at his disposal.

All-in-all, we feel it’s a win-win situation and the Hatters should add Bradley to the squad.

  • Sign him, and you will straight back down to Division 2. He is crap, doesn’t read the game well, and has a shocking attitude to his manager and team mates. Hoping his alcohol, drug taking, and gambling problems have now cleared up.

    Good luck with him !!!!!!!!!
