At high noon today, Luton Town and Watford clash, in a league game, for the first time in sixteen years in front of spectators.

The Hatters support have eagerly waited for this fixture and will be hoping that their side can extend their seven-game unbeaten run to eight, while also climbing back into the upper echelons of the Championship table.

The game, being high-profile, will see an army of Police trying to maintain peace between the two sets of supporters and, as usual, Watford have boarded up the statue of Graham Taylor, outside Vicarage Road, a sense of overkill methinks.

With the kick-off fast approaching we are now able to bring you the team sheets.

Starting with our hosts, Watford:

Continuing with Luton Town:

As for those chose to officiate, look no further:

Referee – Robert Madley
Assistant Referee – Johnathan Hunt
Assistant Referee – George Byrne
Fourth Official – Dean Whitestone

Fingers crossed this one goes our way and that nothing untoward happens to see this game generates news for the wrong reasons, three points please Luton Town.

Same tactics as Norwich me thinks. Great.

  • Chris winter says:

Missed the first goal we was in Garston an got escorted all round the houses by the cops just to make us late. Grrr not good from our midfield.

  • Chris winter says:

    DIABOLICAL UNACCEPTABLE DOGS**T!!!!!!!!!

  • Alan says:

With all the hype on this one game, it is always highly likely to come back and bite ya. Awful day at the office, but remember the week we have had. Don’t dwell on it, put to bed and move on. ….

    • Chris winter says:

Sorry Alan that was just not acceptable. If its not put right ASAP. The players will find out next Saturday exactly what we think when they come out of that tunnel plans are in place to let them know. IT’S NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

  • Chris winter says:

Sickness in the camp is no excuse. That team did not perform we are supposed to be stronger and we have looked it until the most important game of the season then we crumble not good enough. The players must take responsibility and they didn’t perform end of. Wait till Saturday nutters corner is waiting for them.

    • Alan says:

Didn’t say it was acceptable. I said bin it and move on. Not all supporters will turn on them just because of one game. Usual response to negative result. Nobody said a word on here after last Saturday until Tuesday. Get over it. We will have are moment in the return fixture….

thought they might come and bite us on the arse. they looked a premier team today, they played well, and we had an off day. still i thought we should have had at least three goals, but the luck was with watford. lets reload and see what comes our way. i know chris is especially annoyed about one of the most important games to a lot of luton fans, he is right that its not good enough, but we have seen this before many times over the years, lets hope a bit of luck comes back our way. and if you want to voice your concerns then you should do. i am sure the players are just as pissed off as the supporters.COYH

NJ just needed to say Watford were too good to play against today, the lads didn’t show up, didn’t look like they were in a derby match and didn’t do the basics. Get Cohen on the post match interviews!
Other than that, I think we all would have taken 7 points at nearly 2 points per game promotion form from them 4 fixtures… As long as we stop underperforming when playing the smaller clubs we are still looking good value this season.
