I must admit that I had to dig very deep to produce this starting XI but i think the toil was worth it!
In fact, to be honest I had to surf the internet to complete the eleven.
But having done similar features for Queens Park Rangers – they-played-for-both-luton-town-and-queens-park-rangers-starting-xi and Chelsea – they-played-for-both-luton-town-and-chelsea-starting-xi I was determined to get this one across the line.
But, as has proven to be the case in the two previously mentioned articles, there is every chance that I may have missed someone out who you believe could have improved my eleven.
Please feel free to drop a few names into the comment facility below and we will see if this article is as well received as the other two in what I hope to be an ongoing series for the remainder of the season.
Here is my XI:
• Goalkeeper – David Button
• Defender – Jack Stacey
• Defender – Cameron Carter-Vickers
• Defender – Keith Rowland

• Midfielder – Eunan O’Kane
• Midfielder – Marc Pugh
• Midfielder – Paul Telfer
• Striker – Mark Stein

There May Be Trouble Ahead For Luton
Hi mh, mark oven-gloves in goal maybe…..
good shout
And of course harry cornick
I’ll stick with the front three I’ve chosen 🙂
Marc Pugh didn’t play for Luton (well not yet!) – Josh McQuoid did as did Richard Cooke
Marc Pugh played 4 games while on loan in 2008
John Groves, FA Cup Finalist for the Hatters, moved to Bournemouth early 60s
I was but a babe in arms in the early 60’s 🙂
Steve Robinson, Mark Ovendale, Richard Cooke to name but a few……
Cooke joined from Bournemouth and then went back, must have loved the place.
Warren Feeney, super sub ?
Not really super sub, one of those players who scored goals for fun everywhere but here….lol…
indeed Alan whooooooooooooooooosh lol
