The announcement that all EFL football has been suspended until at least 03-April, leaves us footy fans with a void to fill.
I’m probably not alone in admitting that the one thing that keeps me going throughout a dull and dreary week at work is the prospect of a big game at the weekend, but now there’s nothing with the sporting calendar bereft of anything likely to attract my attention.
But all is not lost!
With the introduction of the internet, it is quite possible to find something entertaining to do and, purely by accident, I stumbled across the following clip which you may find interesting.
It contains newspaper cuttings and short video clips of that marvellous season we had back in top-flight football when Harry Haslam was in charge.
Viewing it, it brings back so vividly some wonderful times and just how different the game was back then.
