At lunchtime today the news broke that Luton have signed another defender.
The defender coming to our club is Greg Taylor
Taylor, who is twenty-one years of age, has signed a loan deal to bring him to Kenilworth Road until January 2012, at which point the deal will become a permanent one.
Taylor is something of a local lad having been born in Bedford. So far he has played for Kettering Town before moving to Darlington, from where Luton have signed him.
Speaking to the local news station about the signing, Gary Brabin had this to say,
“Greg is a real competitor, young, fit and has two great feet.”
(Trotted out a few cliché`s there Gary)
“His favoured position is left back and we`ve bought him to play there.”
