The ex-Luton manager and Lutonian, Kevin Blackwell, appears to be spreading his horizons.

According to the local press, Kevin has applied to become the technical director of the Nigeria Football Federation.

Now fifty-two year sold, still a spring chicken in football management terms, his representative in Nigeria is quoted as having remarked,

“Kevin has been in the country a number of times and has come to understand the Nigeria football situation. He has applied for the job because he believes he can bring his experience to bear in developing football in this country.”
