The Hatters wrap up a successful promotion season this Saturday when they travel to Meadow Lane to take on Notts County in the final fixture of the 2017 / 2018 season.
With the promotion party set to continue, we’re hoping there is, once again, a large contingent of travelling fans to cheer the team on as we contemplate a few months without our fix of the Hatters.
Ahead of the game, we’re able to announce the names of those appointed to officiate:
• Referee – Darren Handley
• Assistant Referee – Graeme Fyvie
• Assistant Referee – Ken Haycock
• Fourth Official – Christopher Ward
Darren Handley, he has taken charge of 41 games and has issued 125 yellow cards and 7 red cards.
This season, hey has taken charge of the following games involving Luton Town:
- 26 September – League Two – Morecambe 0 Luton Town 0 – yellow cards issued 1, red cards issued 0
- 10 February – League Two – Stevenage 1 Luton Town 1 – yellow cards issued 4, red cards issued 0
Strangely enough, both ended in draws and both games were away from home.
Here at Vital Luton Town we’re not fussed about the away aspect but we’d appreciate a win with Darren Handley in charge, to wrap up the season.
