Norwich v Luton – Team Sheets Revealed

Today, the Hatters are up in Norfolk, taking on the Championship leaders, Norwich City.

On paper it looks to be a difficult fixture with Luton taking on a side that have opened a 10-point lead at the top of the table.

However, as we have discovered in recent weeks, predicting how Luton Town will perform has probably been harder than guessing the winning lottery numbers.

Nathan Jones has seen his side go from picking up 1 point in 3 games to picking up 7 points out of the last 9 available, or as some would put, turning relegation form into promotion form.

Luton have already beaten Norwich City this season, so they know it is a task they are up to, if they remain focused from the off and do not concede an early goal.

The change in fortune has come about courtesy of Nathan being bold with his team selections, dropping those who were not performing up to scratch and bringing in those who deserved a chance.

But with the games coming thick and fast will the gaffer be forced to make a couple of changes?

Well, you are about to find out because with the kick-off fast approaching, we can bring you the team sheets.

Time for a few others to shine today…nice to see moncs getting a start….

    • Mad Hatter says:

Shame Adebayo is on the bench, I know he picked up a knock at Forest but with no game in midweek, was it worth a risk?

  • Chris winter says:

Hi boys, got to admit I’m baffled by the team today. Wondering how he’s set this up for this game. Not critical of team. Just what his game plan is. But if he gets a result fair play.

  • Paul says:

Too much tinkering with the starting players for my liking, I like to see a settled side, how will we ever get consistancy?

    • Mad Hatter says:

good point Paul, considering Rotherham is off on Tuesday, I would have stuck with basically the selections from the last two games

  • Paul says:

All that hard work effort, then we drop off and let them score a second.
Think Sluga should have done better.

  • Danny says:

a bright and positive start, unlucky not to take the lead against the champions elect. Naismith looks so much more comfortable at centre half.

That’s why they’re, top…finishing…oh for pukki….second half have a go at them. Nothing to lose….

  • Chris winter says:

Hi all, defenders ball watching again. Not picking up t he man. How’s that sluga fault!!! Thay show why they be top an we are mid table.

  • Alan says:

Never slugs fault….ball drops to collo he hits the post…ball drops to pukki, he scores….

  • Paul says:

Chasing shadows, fair play to Norwich, different class.

  • Paul says:

Never said it was his fault, i said he should have done better.
The fault was our defence losing thier man again. but Sluga seemed to dive into our goal instead uf standing up.

  • Chris winter says:

No surprise here but poor defending at fault. For 3-0 defeat. Could have done better. Still no game till Saturday so let’s get it right an go again against Coventry.

  • Alan says:

No complaints really. Had collo scored, who knows….best play Swansea 1st tho chris…lol…

  • Chris winter says:

Hi Alan oops getting ahead of myself lol. Just seen njs comments that he made the changes with the Rotherham game postponed. So he obviously thinks Swansea is easier!!! I don’t think so. They are just the type of team we struggle against. Like Cardiff an Millwall

  • Alan says:

Hi Chris and it’s on bloody sky……
