Luton – February Was A Strange Month

Image for Luton – February Was A Strange Month

Our performances could be likened to a roller coaster ride, highs and lows that saw the support only too willing to air their views.

But, when you analyse the month, would you deem it to have been a good, bad, or average month?

The reason I ask is that, for all the bad vibes, the 6 games Luton Town played saw the Hatters win 2, draw 2 and lose 2:

Wins – Birmingham City (a), Sheffield Wednesday (h)

Draws – Huddersfield Town (a), Millwall (h)

Losses – Cardiff City (h), Stoke City (a)

those results meant that Luton accumulated 8 points from the 18 available, sufficient, I believe, to alleviate any immediate fears of relegation.

However, at the start of the month, we used our poll facility to ask you how many points Luton would earn in the month.

As it turns out, 26% of those that voted got it right, choosing the 5-8 points option.

As for the remainder of the vote, 5% thought we would do worse than we did, going for the 0-4 points option, 59% thought we would do better than we did, voting for the 9-13 points option and 10% were expecting the Hatters to gain 14-18 points, which would have made February a monumental month.

Our thanks go to all those who participated, but what does March hold?

Great result last night, will have to keep my head down for a couple of days. Just thinking about the team, they played for both. If you included Paul Hart you could have also included a great defender and favourite, Chris Cohen. The king could have also been included Mick Hartfotd.
