Sometimes you can play well and not get a result, on other occasions you can play poorly and still grab a victory.

Last night belongs firmly in the latter category.

After seeing the unbeaten run end at Bramall Lane, last Saturday, the Hatters support were hoping that their side could, somehow, get back to winning ways against Bristol City last night and they did exactly that, winning 2-1.

But, as you may have guessed from my earlier prose, it wasn’t pretty, something that was recognised on social media:

Yes, the number of changes Nathan Jones made did give us cause for concern ahead of the game but with such a hectic fixture schedule, there is, naturally, going to be some chopping and changing.

But three points is three points:

Thankfully, although we were poor, Bristol City were poorer, a fact also recognised by the social media crowd:

Indeed, the defeat for the opposition last night was their seventh away game without a win.

But we’ll finish with a light-hearted post:

Most definitely, how about this weekend when Blackburn Rovers visit Kenilworth Road!

I seem to remember a lot of questions being asked on here when the teams were announced. Many not happy with it. Maybe now the doubters will admit nj is a genius at getting the right team for that game (tongue in cheek) who cares about performance it’s the points that mattered.

A win is a win , I was worried with the amount of changes but it paid off so let’s hope the ones who were missing last night can come back in and give a big performance on Saturday . Coyh
