Luton v Sheff Wed – Team Sheets Revealed

This afternoon, Luton Town welcome Sheffield Wednesday to Kenilworth Road for a Championship fixture.

The last three games have seen the Hatters amass just a single point from the nine available, with losses against Cardiff City (h), Stoke City (a) and a draw against Millwall (h).

But I think it is fair to say that the draw against Millwall gave us all hope.

Nathan Jones ditched some of the under-achievers and gave a chance to those who have been on the fringe of affairs and Luton gave a better performance.

But will Nathan be as brave again against a Sheffield Wednesday side who are involved in a relegation fight.

With the kick off fast approaching we are now able to reveal the team sheets and discover if Nathan has been bold or returned to type.

Starting with Luton Town:

Continuing with our visitors Sheffield Wednesday:

    Well, fair play again nj….

  • Chris winter says:

Hi mh, great he’s not bottled it. Only replacement Pearson. Full of optimism for a win now. In a game that’s now a must win

  • paul says:

Our best selection in recent weeks, sorry to say Bradleys poor form recently didn’t help.
I just hope Pelly and Rea don’t come off the bench.
Cornick will, and I hope Moncure gets a run out.

  • Chris winter says:

Hi all this is a disgrace what is going on. I don’t understand why we can’t play with any consistency. I give up trying to understand. 😭 So disappointed this is relegation form.

  • Alan says:

Feckin useless…tuesday was clearly wishful thinking…time to realise we ain’t good enough…any of them…..its gonna have to be a second have miracle…I’ve said it b4 KDH isn’t on it…get moncs on for him….

  • Paul says:

This confirms, we are the worst team in this division. And I’m including Wycombe in that.
if you haven’t scored a goal or won a game in weeks, play Luton and you will end that run.
There is something wrong in the dressing room, could be time for NJ to go.

Hi Alan, don’t think it would matter who came on we are losing this game. If rea comes on I expect it to be 4-0

  • Danny says:

get innnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn c’mon you hats see it out now !

  • Alan says:

    I eat my words….

    • Danny says:

i don’t think anyone could of seen that coming to be fair Alan, that sort of win makes up for Tuesday night’s massive disappointment 🙂

  • Paul says:

Sorry about my typo error, i meant the best team in the Div 🙂

  • Chris winter says:

Hi all, don’t let’s get carried away with this result. Yes we got out of jail. But there’s a lot of football to be played. An let’s not get carried away. But bright points were adebayo. Let’s hope he carries on

  • Alan says:

Chris, I think we are allowed to get a little carried away just for a day or so…..we need to approach every game the way we played second half…..

  • Chris winter says:

Hi Alan, sorry but I can’t except the current jeckell an Hyde nature of the team. An it seems to me that nj has to accept the problems in the team are his. Again I don’t advocate getting rid of him. But something has to change. I can except a team that tries for 90mins but to often we don’t try for 70 minds that to me is unexceptable. An OK I don’t know what the answer is to the problem. But this can’t go on.

  • Alan says:

I get that Chris what I meant was let’s just enjoy the fact we won a must win game…..we have all been critical of nj, beg for him to make changes & he has. It worked Tuesday but not first half today but he ha0d the balls to change to some of the old guard 2and half to turn it round..deserves a bit of credit for that, after taking a lot of flak many wanted him sacked at half time….what happened to we dont care how we win as long as we do….lol….

  • Chris winter says:

Hi Alan an mh, yeah maybe I am to critical at times but it’s frustrating at the moment. An mh sorry but after 1 loss an we could be back in 17th so I am not comfortable

  • Alan says:

Blimmey, never known so much doom & gloom after a win……
