Luton Town – Two Opportunities Present Themselves For Former Gaffer

Over the last forty-eight hours, it has been interesting to see that two managers, in the EFL Championship have lost their jobs.

The first to be axed was the Queens Park Rangers boss, Gareth Ainsworth, closely followed by the Bristol City manager, Nigel Pearson.

Both clubs have not made the best of starts to the 2023/2024 season with Queens Park Rangers sitting in 23rd place in the Championship table with just 8 points from the 14 games played, although things were not quite as bad at Ashton Gate with Bristol City sitting in 15th place with 18 points from 14 games.

Perhaps, on the basis of the aboe, Nigel Pearson might feel hard done by, but that’s a discussion for the Robins support.

But, with two vacancies in the Championship, could we be about to see the return to management of Nathan Jones?

Nathan has been on the sidelines since being axed by Southampton, then a Premier League club, back in February of this year.

But, which of the two clubs would Nathan prefer?

If our former gaffer is set to make a return to management, my view is that Bristol City might be his preference, after all it is near to his native Wales and, just like the two clubs he left us for, Stoke City and Southampton, they play in red and white.

However, considering how his dalliances with clubs associated with red and white have ended, perhaps Nathan might, indeed, fancy a change, could a spell at Queens Park Rangers be beckoning?

Your thoughts on the above would be greatly appreciated.
