The Hatters have another three important Premier League fixtures to play before the last international break of the season is upon us.
Now while I almost always bemoan the fact that international breaks are the bane of my life, this time it is a little different.
It is fair to say that I’m more than a little interested in this one for two reasons.
1 – The extended break will give our medical team valuable time to do their utmost to get those who are injured fit again or the last nine games of the season.
And
2 – There is a chance that we just might see one of our players pull on an England shirt again.
Of course, the player in question is Ross Barkley who has been simply fantastic since agreeing to join our club.
The midfielder has been exemplary, and some supporters reckon he is the best midfielder they’ve ever seen at the club.
But while most Hatters would select Ross, for the forthcoming international squad, any section will depend on Gareth Southgate who has a tendency to show loyalty to those who have served him previously, Jordan Henderson and Kalvin Phillips are two examples who instantly spring to mind.
However, looking at current form, surely Gareth cannot ignore what Ross would bring to the squad.
But, when push comes to shove, what are your views?
Will Gareth Southgate Select Ross Barkley?
Yes!
No!

Luton Town – The Season Re-Starts Today
great if he gets selected, but please no injuries.COYH.
Morning mh, not that he isn’t capable of the job for England but with Southgate in charge he has no chance.
Also this afternoon I’m preying management have come to a possible solution to the defensive midfield position. Neither Barkley or Clark must play in that position Barkley is needed a little further forward to be of influence and Clark can’t play there !!! Otherwise I fear for us today.
So who gets the nod then ????
As I’ve said Alan,I don’t know but if fit osho or maybe put hashioka in the back an seeing as management want Burke playing as a stones clone put him there ?
is dan potts ready to play yet. thought hashioka looked good. could any young players step up.?? COYH.
Potts was ready to play but picked up a bad hamstring injury a couple of weeks ago, in training.
