Luton Town Support In Huge Sky Sports Snub

Before my participation as the editor of this site was temporarily curtailed by a return to the proper day job, I used our poll facility to ask a pertinent question.

When / If the EFL Championship programme does return and we see a resumption of the 2019 / 2020 season it is accepted that the games will be played behind closed doors.

It is hoped, or should that be expected, the games will be televised on one media platform or another.

Trying to gauge reaction, our poll simply asked what your preference would be when it came to watching the fixtures?

We offered two options and you left us in no doubt as to which your preference would be.

62% of you said your preference would be to watch it on the official Hatters web site with the remaining 38% opting for a preference to watch it on the Sky Sports Red Button.

Is that because Sky’s coverage isn’t up to their usual standard and resembles coverage back in the 1970s?

My preference would be to sit in my seat in the Kenny End but, alas, it isn’t going to be is it, at least for the foreseeable future.

Hi mh, I think fans in the efl deserve games being shown on free to air channels anyway. At this time we should not have to pay to watch our team in a sterile environment without our support.
