Luton Town Paired With Bolton In FA Cup 3rd Round Draw

The FA Cup gives the Hatters the chance to take a break from their Premier League struggles.

Early this afternoon, the draw took place for the prestigious 3rd round of the competition.

It is a far cry from my younger days when we used around a portable transistor radio to hear who the mighty Hatters had been paired with.

These days the draw is given high priority on the TV channels who don’t get too much opportunity to show, live, Premier League football.

Although the FA Cup isn’t given the same priority it used to be, who can deny the thought of an appearance, at Wembley, is something to strive for.

As it turned out, Luton Town, ball number 22, were paired with Bolton Wanderers in a tie to be played at Kenilworth Road.
