It was only this morning that I questioned whether today would be the day.
My article – hopefully-a-manic-friday-awaits-us – queried whether, after having had a medical yesterday, the Wolverhampton Wanderers player, Ryan Giles, would be announced as a Hatter.
Seemingly, my wish was my command with it being announced by the Official Site that the player had put pen-to-paper on a Luton Town contract.
In doing so, Giles becomes our sixth acquisition of the summer as the gaffer, Rob Edwards, attempts to put together a squad not only capable of retaining our top-flight status but also one capable of making an impact.
As is the norm, the fee Luton Town have paid Wolverhampton for his services remains as undisclosed but, here at Vital Luton Town, we reckon its not far from being £4.5 million.
Here at Vital Luton, I’d like to take the opportunity to welcome Ryan to or fine football club and we hope his stay is a joyous and fruitful one.

Luton Town – Is It A Cause For Concern?
So it would seem Fred isn’t up to the first team now an the new signings an what we have in defence are adequate. But I admit I’m a little surprised. As he hasn’t done anything wrong since joining except injury prone.
I suppose another possible answer is that the loan was part of the deal for ogibene . with the undisclosed fee 😂😂😂
It could well be Chris, feel for the lad
Whilst our rumoured fees aren’t lighting any fires, the sheer volume of near £5M spends are racking up… with 10 players targeted, we may spend more than the total of my entire lifetime to date in this window…
Fair play to the board for having a proper go but in a sensible and manageable manner, as always.
Well said Steve couldn’t agree more.
building a squad that if the worse were to happen, we could bounce straight back, let’s hope everyone gels.
I liked Fred thought he would make an impact thus season at least he will get games at Rotherham
