The reason I ask is that the nae of Ryan Giles has been featuring heavily in various newsfeeds with many sources, including the – Daily Mail – reporting that the 23-year-old underwent a medical with the club yesterday.
With the weekend fast approaching, I’m surmising that confirmation of the deal being done, for a fee in the region of circa £4 million to £5 million, would set us up nicely for the weekend.
Perhaps, also, things are going on behind the scenes relating to the acquisition of a goalkeeper, a position we desperately need to recruit for with only James Shea and Matt Macey currently on our books.
Well, I’ll keep an eye on all the news feeds and act accordingly, but wouldn’t it be nice, if, like London buses, two came along at once, or would that be seen as being greedy?
