For those of you who have been eagerly following our ‘They Played For Both’ series, I have an admission to make.
I’ve run out of clubs to cover; with those clubs I’ve not featured not having enough candidates to raise anywhere near a starting XI.
But never fear, I’ve had one of those ‘light-bulb’ moments and have decided to offer XI’s that cover a city, with the first example being the city of Manchester, with the XI comprised of players who have either played for Manchester City or Manchester United and Luton.
Goalkeeper – Les Sealey
Defender – Mal Donaghy
Defender – Paul Futcher
Defender – David Oldfield
Defender – John Ryan
Midfielder – Tony Grealish

Substitute – Jimmy Ryan
But can you think of any other individuals that deserve a mention and who fit the criteria?
If so, simply drop their name into the comment facility beneath this article.
