Luton – The Four Game Challenge

Back in the early days of this month and ahead of the fixture against Coventry City, I posed something of a question in our poll.

I wanted to know, how many points you thought we’d accumulate from a schedule that would see Luton play four tough opponents, namely:

• Coventry City
• Preston North End
• Burnley
• Birmingham City

With three options to choose from:

0-4 points
5-7 points
8-12 points

The Hatters, as we now know accumulated FIVE points with draws against Coventry City and Preston North End and a win against Birmingham.

When it came to the votes cast 57% guessed correctly going for the 5-7 points option, whereas 3% thought it would be a poorer month than it was option for 0-4 points with the remaining 40% obviously ending up disappointed by going for the 8-12 points.

So, what about the next four games:

• Millwall (h)
• Swansea City (h)
• Sheffield United (a)
• Bristol City (h)

The Next 4 EFL Games Will See Luton Win?

0-4 points!

0-4 points!

5-7 points!

5-7 points!

8-12 points!

8-12 points!

Is the fact that three of the four are home fixtures an advantage or are we better playing away from home?

I reckon anything less than a total of 9 points will be seen as a disappointment, how about you?

Normally I’d be delighted with3 home games out of 4 but home form is very iffy at present. Let’s hope that is now behind us and we start performing at the Kenny.

Millwall and Sheff Utd tough customers, Bristol in good form… Still I think 7pts achievable.
Depending on Ade being clinical and supporting strike force stepping up if Morris is out for this spell.

lets Hope Carlton is fit ! Elijah seems very shaky on confidence , no doubting his ability but must get stronger mentally & with his decision making. not to panic !
Cauley deserves more chances, in the past he’s been a goal machine , we need to pray his form & mo jo return. Really need Sonny as the Central defense has been HAMMERED with injuries this season . Also pray Hovarth has more confidence & better decision making.
Quite a few goal recently were saveable !

Give the youngsters more game time, you will need them if there is injury’s running up to the playoffs.
