Luton Release List Of Those Set To Leave

|

As we expected, Luton Town FC have now confirmed who in the current squad will not be kept on next season.

So far, this summer, we have seen Matty Pearson and James Collins leave the club and it is now confirmed that four members of the first team squad, who featured last season, are also exiting Kenilworth Road according to the official site; Click Here with the quartet being George Moncur, Kazenga LuaLua, Brendan Galloway and Harry Isted.

Of those, the most surprising name on that list is George Moncur, with KDH having returned to Leicester City, many of our readers thought, given the chance, Moncur could slip into that vacant midfield slot.

Continuing there are a trio of players, from the first team squad, who have been offered new deals but have yet to put pen-to-paper – Martin Cranie, Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu and Ryan Tunnicliffe, hopefully they will decide Kenilworth Road is the place to be.

But what are your feelings on the decisions made?

Do you agree with them or are you gutted that this decision has been made?

Also, when it comes to those, we are waiting to sign new deals, what are your feelings on them?

Hi all gutted for moncs, but this probably opens the door for a fully fit Morrell…no surprise with lua lua, think Fred will be more than a capable replacement…although isted is released I still can’t see Walton coming if both slug and shea are both here…Good luck to the players leaving and thanks for the memories…

MH you need to edit your story. You said Bradley was gone. 😁

I really hope NJ and the board have some new signings lined up as we seem to have lost all bar one of our creative players and goal scorers.
I am gutted to see Moncur go, I think he is a fantastic player and very under used by NJ. I am really surprised to see he offered Tunniclife a new deal but not Moncs. Different levels in my opinion.

I can’t remember ever being so disappointed at the club releasing a player. Moncs was our top scorer by minutes played and (by performances on the pitch alone) I think has been treated badly by us throughout his time here. I hope he gets the chance to score against us soon. First big misstep by NJ since returning. Agree with the comments that we need some more creativity and and goals signed ASAP.
