Winning 5-0 is always a pleasurable experience, even more so when the opposition, Coventry City, are flying high in the Championship table.

I read somewhere that the winning margin was our best at this level since the early nineties, can anyone verify that fact?

As a result, when it comes to Sky Sports midweek team of the week, covering the round of games played over Tuesday / Wednesday, Luton have three players in the side, with Nathan Jones also appointed as the manager:

• Allsop
• Forsyth
Naismith
• Dickie
• Thompson
• O’Brien
• McNair
Berry
• Chair
• Mitrovic
Cornick

But, as this is a Luton site, I thought I’d pick out a few comments, relating to Luton players for you to discuss.

The first relates to Kal Naismith:

Which brought the following splendid response:

It was interesting to see Harry Cornick named in the eleven, I would imagine it might have been a toss-up between Cornick and Elijah Adebayo for that second striker spot alongside Fulham’s prolific Alexandra Mitrovic.

But it is great to see Luton Town getting noticed, even if it did take a 5-0 rout of Coventry City for it to happen.
