Luton – How Many Points Will October Bring?

September, as far as accumulating points was concerned, was an average month with just six earned from a possible fifteen available.

Although it should be mentioned that of the five games Luton played, the only one they lost was against promotion chasing Bournemouth, a game we could have won if we had taken our chances.

But, today sees the start of another month, October, with the Hatters facing another five fixtures, with the games scheduled as thus:

• Saturday 02-Ocober – Huddersfield Town (h)
• Saturday 16-October – Millwall (a)
• Tuesday 19-October – Derby County (a)
• Saturday 23-October – Hull City (h)
• Saturday 30-October – Preston North End (a)

It is an intriguing list with three away games and two home games, including a trip to troubled Derby County in a midweek game.

But and getting to the crux of the article, how do you think Luton Town will fare?

My view is that the Hatters should amass a minimum of eight points from those five fixtures, but what are your views?
