Luton Move Three Points Closer With Win Over Watford

I’m sure I’m not the only Hatter waking up this morning feeling, how you might say, a little fragile.

One bonus of an early kick-off is that it gives you longer to celebrate, in the pub if you win especially when it is a win over that lot from down the road.

Yesterday (Saturday), Luton Town didn’t just beat Watford, they mastered them with a display of team unity, grit, dedication and hard work, plus the win further enhances our chances of making the play-off and perhaps, well you can take your own conclusions from that hint.

Goals from Gabe Osho and Allan Campbell were sufficient to keep Luton Town in the hunt for promotion as the end of the season fast approaches.

Viewing social media last night, it was particularly pleasing to see that the Hatter support were appreciative of the huge amount of effort the team put in:

Indeed, they did and it does appear that Rob Edwards has produced the kind of team spirit that is the envy of many other clubs.

Continuing, the result did help ease the memory of what happened at Vicarage Road, in the reciprocating fixture, with one poster remarking:

I’ll not argue with that one, all I’ll say is that with SEVEN games to go we are in a position where every victory, from now on in, could be described as the biggest win of the season.
