The month of November has all but come to an end and soon the month of December will be with us.

The significance being that it will mean the month of January will soon be upon us and the opening of the January transfer window.

With the Hatters form having slipped in recent weeks, with Luton only taken 1 point out of the last 9 available, the gaffer, Nathan Jones, hasn’t minced his words often referring to his side ‘lacking quality’ in certain areas of the pitch.

Now, here at Vital Luton Town, we are not under the illusion that, come January, Luton will embark on a spending spree.

But we do expect some action in the market, action that could see someone come in and, possibly, a couple of our youngsters going out on loan for the remainder of the season.

However, the purpose of this article is to gauge your opinion.

If Luton were restricted to bringing in just one new player, which position do you believe needs strengthening the most?

Just One Signing But Which Position?

Morning mh, what do we need? Could be a keeper if sluga wants out. Could be a defender we’ve watched souttar a number of times but he’s probably out of our price range. A midfielder when we have a boy wonder waiting in the wings called Elliott Thorpe? Or a real goal scorer. We signed one gomes remember him looked good in pre season now lutons forgotten man what happened to him!!! You an I had doubts about him. Maybe management have too now? He’s dropped so far down the pecking order.

I think nj told the truth about sluga self isolation an shea for me is just as good so it wasn’t any sort of risk. He’s been unlucky not to have been recalled before. I just wonder what the plan is for gomes. An what’s he done wrong.

who ever is signed it will only put our up and coming youngsters further down the pecking order .give them the chance to shine. we have some really good players coming through the ranks, how come other teams play youngsters ,and we don’t. if you don’t have money for top players, why not try them. thats what they are there for. or just pick the same old midfielders ???. We should go all out for Scott Twine. Why we went for CMG is still a mystery. Twine would taje to free kick duties from bree too.
And Pelly not marking his man for Cardiffs second goal was staggering.
