This Wednesday, the Hatters welcome Norwich City to Kenilworth Road, for their next Championship fixture.
After the mauling Luton received away to Cardiff City, the fixture against the Canaries gives Nathan Jones side the opportunity to get back to winning ways.
But, if the fixture against Cardiff highlighted our flaws then the Hatters will have to be on top of their game against table-topping Norwich City.
When it comes to the starting eleven, on Wednesday night, it will be interesting to see who Nathan selects, even more so after this curt comment, as published by The BBC:
“It wasn’t a good day at the office, it was our third game in a week, we had low energy and we didn’t play well and we got punished for it. I wish I had made 11 changes, I genuinely do and we have to address that.β
Surely, Nathan will not go to such extreme measures.
Following the Cardiff defeat, trawling social media I came upon the post below suggesting that Lutonβs best XI is:
Sluga, Bree, Lockyer, Bradley, Norrington D, Morrell, Dewsbury-H, Berry, Clark, Collins, Cornick. ππβ½οΈ

Is that a line-up you would agree to or would you make subtle changes?
However, when it comes to the starting eleven, I reckon this chap has it spot on:
Round pegs in round holes on Wednesday please, Nathan.

Or perhaps you would give Sam Nombe a chance, after all, after coming on in the 41st minute, replacing Luke Berry, with the Hatters losing 2-0, the youngster did okay, as illustrated by this social media post that sums up his performance adequately:
Showed composure on the ball, actually passed it and showed more pace than Cornick. Everything Harry does but better really

With 1000 spectators inside Kenilworth Road, there should be a benefit when it comes to playing at home, although it will take a great team effort to beat Norwich City.

Hi mh, this is a really tough one. I don’t care who he plays surely the bigger question is do the players have the will an courage to give a performance that will see them win. Now that they have a small crowd behind them will that energise them to a victory. I said in a post earlier that if we could get 3pts from the 3 games I would be satisfied. Because I realised that this block would be our toughest test yet an it’s proving to be what I expected
Hi all, I’m not getting on Collo’s back but if he is picked someone should tell him stay up front. I’m not doubting his work rate but we need someone up the middle to get in the box…hylts got slagged off on here a few weeks for not being in a forwards position well I’m sorry collo is doing the same…if he stays there, the opposition will leave 2 back….its not rocket science…or chuck nombe in & tell him play up the middle & stay there….nothing to lose….
Hi all, so we have recalled isted back from his loan. I hear that there was an injury in training. So he is needed now as back up or maybe after his wonder saves against Notts County he’ll be starting against Norwich lol
Chris I heard slugs struggling after his slip on Saturday…
Hi Alan yes so I hear now. Although he wanted to train he found he was unable to move freely enough.
