Saturday can’t come quick enough!
We’ve waited for what seems like an eternity for the 2019 / 2020 Championship season to resume and this Saturday we finally get our wish.
Okay, we may not be able to watch our beloved Hatters in action, with the remaining fixtures being played behind closed doors, but there’s no denying the excitement levels, in my particular life, are set to increase dramatically.
I may have to follow the action on the internet but if that is the way it is then so be it.
With the fixture getting so close, we are now able to reveal the names of those in charge:
– Referee – John Brooks
– Assistant Referee – Timothy Wood
– Assistant Referee – Adam Crysell
– Fourth Official – Tom Nield
Unfortunately, for Luton, the appointment of John Brooks might fill the support with trepidation.
Brooks has refereed two matches involving Luton this season and the Hatters have lost both, against Leeds United and Fulham, hopefully, it’ll be third time lucky for the Hatters.
When it comes to his card activity this season, Brooks has issued 92 cards in 26 games and flashed the red card on just 1 occasion with the recipient being John Buckley (Blackburn Rovers).
