Any doubts about the future of Dan Potts have been quashed by the news that the 24-year-old left-back has put pen-to-paper on a new three-year contract.

Potts, who was an integral part of the Hatters promotion squad and somebody who was named in the Sky Bet League Two team of the season, had a year left to run on his current deal.

The Hatters boss, Nathan Jones, as quoted by Sky Sports, who have borrowed some quotes from the official Luton site, Click Here, as remarking,

“It’s very good news for us, the club, that he’s committed his future for three years, so we’re delighted.

“We had to fend off a lot of offers for a few of our players and Dan was one of those.”
