Tonight, the Hatters are in the north-west taking on Blackburn Rovers in their penultimate game of the EFL Championship.

For Luton Town a place in the play-offs awaits and a chance of landing a place in the top-flight of English football with 3rd place already secured after Middlesbrough lost away to Rotherham United earlier today.

Blackburn Rovers, on the other hand, have it all to play for and need to win both their remaining games to stand a chance of gate-crashing the play-off scenario.

Ahead of the game much has been said about Rob Edwards, perhaps, resting some of his starting XI, with a play-off place already secured, but surely it is better to play your strongest team to keep the momentum going that has seen the Hatters build up a decent unbeaten run.

Well, with the kick-off fast approaching, we are now able to bring an end to any such thoughts by bringing you the starting XI’s.

Starting with our hosts, Blackburn Rovers:

Continuing with Luton Town:

As for those officiating, look no further:

Referee – Darren England
Assistant Referee – Dan Cook
Assistant Referee – Daniel Robathan
Fourth Official – David Webb

Here’s hoping for another 3 points this afternoon.

Resting legs in middle, only area we have sufficient cover seems strange… But in RE we trust!

Poor passing our problem at the moment can’t find our man. Other than that I’d say we’re comfortable.

If it was first half of first leg of the away fixture in playoffs, I’d take it!

Blackburn won’t make it…can’t see them beating Millwall…us at full pace would have won tonight….
