Usually, after a game, here at Vital Luton Town, we would run a poll asking you to select your man-of-the-match.
But, overnight, I decided it would serve no purpose.
After all, providing two assists and scoring the 3rd goal left Fred Onyedinma head and shoulders above all others.
Onyedinma was simply sensational and far and away, in my opinion, the best player on the lush Kenilworth Road pitch.
His performance was such that, speaking to The BBC
the gaffer enthused,
“Fred was brilliant, absolutely brilliant, but that’s why we brought him here.”
A view that was shared by the Hatters support on social media:
Our new 🐐 you are Fred. One of the best debuts I’ve seen. A threat every time you got the ball.

What a debut! Running down that wing with your hair on fire! Absolutely terrorising that Posh defence. Whooooo! ❤️It

It looks as if we have uncovered a star, here’s hoping that Fred can reproduce that form every game, if so, the defences we face, in the Championship, are going to have all sorts of problems and Luton are going to create chances galore, something that was lacking last season.

Yes it was a great performance but what was also good was that we scored 3. But also the whole team buzzed. And it was a team performance.
Hi anybody herd Morrell is off to Portsmouth
That will boost Portsmouth support by 4 or 5 ex Morrell supporters on here 😂
Also my hint yesterday is now out there Morrell is off to Portsmouth nj found out he couldn’t change his attitude just as city couldn’t.
dropping down a division!
If Morrell’s attitude is below par, send him packing, this squad doesn’t need passengers 😒
